Poco M5 Review: How relevant is this phone without 5G? How is the processor, camera? Read the review

This phone has a 6.58 inch FHD+ display. This display has a 90 Hz refresh rate. Gaming and video streaming will not be a problem. However, using this display in daylight will be a problem.

​Poco M5: Performance

Poco M5 has Mediatek Helio G99 chipset. With 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. From social media browsing to casual gaming, this phone will have no problem. Playing heavy games like Asphalt 9 won't be a problem either. Even with multiple tabs open in Google Chrome, there was no problem using different apps. The company's MIUI 13 skin will run on top of the Android 12 operating system.

But the camera of this phone let us down. Not too bad for a cheap phone, but many budget smartphone cameras these days can take better pictures. Also faced problems while focusing. Although the camera of this phone takes relatively good pictures in daylight, the problem of the camera will be more visible in low light.

The Poco M5 has a 5,000 mAh battery. Almost all phones use this battery these days. This phone will easily run all day on a single charge. Although Poco has given 18 W fast charging support to this phone. A 22.5 W charger is included in the box though. 0-100 percent charge takes about 2 hours.

​Poco M5: Should you buy?

If you want to buy a phone with a different look in a budget of less than Rs 15,000, Poco M5 will catch your eye. Especially with discounts and bank offers, it is possible to buy this phone for less than Rs 10,000. At that price this phone would be considered very good. However, 5G support will not be available.
